Admission
to the
Graduate Schools

The
admission process is highly selective. Graduate students are
exclusively selected based on the recommendations by their professors
as their being outstanding talents with the promise of their achieving
the highest results in physics research. The
graduate enrollment in the Graduate School(s)
[physics, interdisciplinary physics, and cross-disciplinary
physics] of the Stefan University is tuition-free. Graduate
students are guided in their research in particular area(s) of
research by their academic advisors. The research is carried
out in collaboration with the particular members of the Stefan
University International faculty staff.
The
minimum requirement for the Ph.D degree issued by Stefan
University is 4 published papers in the prestigious
international science journals, (Phys. Rev. Lett., and
similar) and successful presentation(s) of a graduate
student's research work at 3 international conferences.
This can be accomplished in 3-4 years , depending on the
effort by a graduate student.
